Cruel Mistress

Life is unfair full of twists and turns, we navigate mostly by experience gained from the past.

Sometimes we even follow down the same path taken before just to take the path not taken at one of the forks  along  the way.

The Cruel part is the path not previously taken turns out to have been the right option.

Other times its like a Mistress who seeks only the reaction or response not knowing the long term damage it may cause.

Sometimes it brings unexpected rewards!!

Caroline

Having received  90 days off with what is filled with some idle time, and continuing to pack things up for a move.

My new direction to meet and seek out  new play partners  continued,  as  many who know me are aware.

 I am very selective when vetting. I firmly stick to negotiating every aspect to the satisfaction of all
parties involved, before proceeding.

Strangest thing  this Beauty named Caroline messaged me requesting we chat.

 I purposely pass up on these types of request, when first made and in time start up a discussion, so
 I can't explain  why  this request I honored  immediately!

This has  been a drawn out process, but as our time getting to know each other continues, I am glad that I did accept!

Call it fate or  destiny I be-leave things that are meant to happen. 

Yes   I am aware  of her past and her being caught up in the adult online world.  Also that her pics have been used many times by scammers who swindle unsuspecting souls.

Moving on

Ok I just celebrated another birthday. Alone !

Now I have taken the   time to   reconsider my life and its direction,   Before my  birthday the decision to  get re involved in kink, the search for someone to mentor or at the least find new friends here in  Albuquerque.

Had begun, but my judgement seems to have waivered, wisdom should have served me better.

Whats the old saying ? "looking in all the wrong places."

Trump Era

So. New leader of the people elected by the people. Whats so new?  Welcome back  to the cold war era we all remember that?  Whens the next Vietnam conflict starting???

Perhaps

Well perhaps I judged prematurely, for it seems "Jeb Bush"maybe the only good Republican choice this election! 

I think times are a changing, and South America is closer than Canada.

Another Christmas

Well we all know how I enjoy this particular "Holiday"!
New location, different family members, with the exception of the neighbors gathering (Linda's house).  Which is a highlight because of the pas-ole!!
And meeting new friends, same "great" stuff.
At least this gets another one out of the way.

One week to go

One more week of classes in this new quarter that started last week. Then a break till Jan 5th, when my classes begin.
And no this year has "NOT!" just flew by. It has dragged on , moving to Albuquerque, made it more tedious, only working occasionally.Temporary work is all one can locate here, and my class schedules suck.
 The more the world changes  the less I want to be part of it.

Still Here

Yes I am still alive and kicking! Another quarter in my pursuit of a degree.
many topics such as 2016 election, but these for another time perhaps.

Interjection

OK so beginning of November there were state and local elections and rather than voting straight party line I choice to select on individual basis of merit. For the most part The candidates I chose were eventual winners.

The exception was for state senate race where Mia Love was chosen. For the life of me why do the sheep here always make the wrong choices. Look at her record, short as it maybe. She has always been on the wrong side of all the important issues she has voted on, "Yet" she is the best choice?? Wake up Utahans are you going too elect another "Bush" in 2016?

If so we are all doomed, and will surely deserve the consequences of our actions!

First step

So now I have finished and acquired my Associates of Science Degree. !
Yea!!

Next step my Bachelors Degree, 21 more months till completion, beginning on 12/08/14
Lets see what else we can get into now.

Hello Again?

I realize the silence is deafening, yet its not for lack of subject matter. With my impending graduation and elections just around the corner. Topics are a massing.
Time though seems to be accumulated and consumed by daily life. So here we are with just a spare moment , not really sure where to begin or how.

Politics: What comes to mind is how they use to cure STD's  in the middle ages ( with a hot branding iron),that did not work so well either.
 We are left with the decisions of choosing one evil over another. 
Sure each candidate  for office these days has good and bad points , yet the truth is none are consistent!
We all now know what worked before never truly worked we just believed our choices were the right one's.

Capstone: I could go off on this, both pro and con. Lets just say it is a promising way to showcase what members of our group have learned these past 21 months.

Holiday Season: Guess whats here again? Tell me though: they have pumpkins and candy down one Isle, Wreaths and tree ornaments down the next Isle, then Turkeys and cranberries sauce all through out the store  with various Autumn themed decorations ???

Enough said!!!

? Group Theory

My Saturday class this quarter is "Group Theory".

 ( I like the rest of the students studying electronics, detest Saturday classes).

This blog especially, I have always enjoyed, but for this class we have to submit each week a journal entry, about in class activities as well as our personal observations/revelations/ experiences on the topic of the exercise. 

Writing is defiantly more enjoyable when it is "not" an assignment!  Sharing my thoughts is not a problem, nor is gathering them and doing so.

 The problem is with my schedule , when I do find the time even with notes.

 I am lost to what the purpose is to the course. I think perhaps my age is my demise, because I have dealt with the subjects though out my adult life, I do not recognize why it is necessary to relearn this.

The end is near

The weather has turned cold and gloomy, strangly this is how I feel about the start of classes in two days.
  Just two quarters left , less than six months from graduation.
      And I just can not get enthusiastic about this schedule nor the subjects of the summer quarter.

They say the weather will change, its Utah it changes every five minutes.
   But my feeling about this quarter may not, its going to be a rough one.
       Many people to thank that has supported me , and those who have struggled with me through this,

Random

Another quarter completed, towards my degree. Two more!
Hope my new doctor can find a combination to get my blood sugars more under control.
 I hate the combination I am now on , gaining back the weight I worked so hard to get rid of, there has to be a better solution.

Finals week

So quarter 4 is in finals week, and I find my self bored. Life mostly revolves around homework and work on the weekend. The search for work during the Monday- Friday hours is discouraging at best.

Saturation

This could and does have many definitions!
Saturation: the point each winter, when we are feed-up with the cold and snow. We seek and desire warmer weather.
Saturation: the point where the expense figures and deductions are so confusing in our minds. Everyone at the IRS are 'evil bastards'!
Saturation: the point each quarter when too much information has been stuffed in my head, it's all a blur. At this point the only thing that is clear is how to do what I could not remember  how to during last quarters finals.
Saturation: When you know what you have learned and remember why?

Super BOWL?

Hey great I have to work, and will not have to endure another game with teams I could care less about.
In all fairness I do hope Manning gets his ring, even though I will have to endure endless chattering from them Broncos fans who can't seem to ever shut-up!

Resolutions

Not this year, I have no resolutions or expectations. No goals to reach on the horizon.
 Though I am glad 2013 has past , I do not look forward to school starting again after the break.

Lost is the fire and anticipation of the future and all the possibilities 2014 may hold.
So here we are!

The Endless Wait

Been almost a week since third quarter finals!
And still waiting for grades to be posted, The new quarter starts in 4 days . Two weeks on then three weeks off..

Thanks Giving

  In years past this list was always longer, but the times have changed.  Gone is prosperity, the "Affordable Care Act" has seen to the fact that what once was a tiered society has become the haves and us who have not.  The middle class which  we fell out of years ago has ceased to exist.  Gone is the youth I had not totally squandered. So this year I am thankful for the friends and family I have left. And perhaps the years I may yet survive!
